The Packing Cube Shoulder Bag is a dual-purpose packing cube: in preparation for and during your journey, use it to organize and pack your clothing inside the Aeronaut, Tri-Star, or Western Flyer — just like how you’d use our Packing Cubes. When you reach your destination and it’s time to leave the Aeronaut, Tri-Star, or Western Flyer in the hotel or hostel, repack the Packing Cube Shoulder Bag with a light jacket, wallet, lunch or small water bottle, map, and add a shoulder strap: you’re ready to go out and explore, and you’ve saved space by not having to bring a separate bag for day use.Made out of our 200 denier Japanese Dyneema®/nylon ripstop fabric, the Packing Cube Shoulder Bag is very lightweight yet durable enough for a lifetime of use for most folks.
The Packing Cube Shoulder Bag has two pockets/compartments, both of which zip with a #5 YKK coil zipper. We specifically chose plastic sliders for this zipper because they won’t corrode or set off metal detectors.
We don’t include a shoulder strap with the Packing Cube Shoulder Bag because you can simply transfer the Absolute Shoulder Strap from your Aeronaut, Tri-Star, or Western Flyer to the Packing Cube Shoulder Bag. If you’d like a second shoulder strap for the Packing Cube Shoulder Bag, or simply a lighter shoulder strap, choose the optional Simple Shoulder Strap.
Other varieties of Packing Cubes are also available:
